Yes. in Reggae the emphasis is on the off beat. Try looking up an instructional video on youtube. it would be much easier to show than explain.

How do I try that with a ragae style? I am still learning the uke. Do you mean the strum pattern or something?

thanx... i was playing around with the rhythm and tempo... try this with a reggae style beat/feel and you would swear that this song was written for the uke!
