# Note: I know on a Soprano (standard) Uke there isn't a 14th fret,
# but just plucking off the fret board on the A string, sounds pretty similar to the
# note it should be. So just give it a try :).

Verse 1:
C
Had a little love,
F
But I spread it thin
Dm G
Falling in her arms and out again
C F
Made a bad name for my game around town
Dm G
Tore up my heart, and shut it down
C
Nothing to do
F
Nowhere to be
Dm G
A simple little kind of free
C
Nothing to do
F
No one but be
Dm G
And that's all I need

Chorus:
C F
I'm perfectly lonely
	      Dm G
I'm perfectly lonely
              Em Am
I'm perfectly lonely (yeah)
      Dm
Coz I don't belong to anyone
G
Nobody belongs to me

# Play half of Intro

Verse 2:
C F
I see my friends around from time to time
Dm G
When their ladies let them slip away
C F
And when they ask me how I'm doing with mine
Dm G
This is always what I say
C
I got nothing to lose
F
Nowhere to be
Dm G
A simple little kind of free
Em
  Nothing to do
Am
  No one to be
Dm G
Is it really hard to see?

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Am
And this is not to say
G
  There never comes a day
F G G-Ab-Am
I'll take my chances and start again
Am
  And when I look behind
G
  On all my younger times
F
I have to thank the wrongs
     Fm
That led me to a love so strong

# Solo: C F Dm G x2

# Repeat Chorus

# Outro (Repeat 4x and fade):
C F
It's the way,It's the way,It's the way that I want it

The strumming sounds best if you play these bar chords: C as 9787 F as 9877 Dm as 7555 and G as 4232

Really nice tab! Thank you for this. I'd love to figure out a smoother way to finger the bridge's G-Ab-Am transition so it's not completely awkward on ukelele, but other than that, it's great!
