Matt &amp; Kim are an indie/power pop duo from Brooklyn, New York consisting of Matt Johnson (vocals, keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums, vocals). Formed in 2004. They have released three albums: &quot;Matt &amp; Kim&quot; (2006), &quot;Grand&quot; (2009) and &quot;Sidewalks&quot; (2010). Their do-it-yourself attitude towards music, dance style rhythms and energetic performances have gained them a substantial international following and a formidable online presence through social networking and media sites like YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, and Flickr.

Matt and Kim filent le parfait amour à la maison comme sur scène. Formés il y a tout juste deux ans, les deux tourtereaux de Brooklyn ne jurent que par les house parties, les concerts en appartement. Matt and Kim sind ein US-amerikanisches Indie-Pop-Duo aus Brooklyn, New York. Matt Johnson und Kim Schifino hatten sich im Jahre 2004 während ihres Studiums am Pratt Institute in Brooklyn kennengelernt. Bevor die beiden anfingen gemeinsam Musik zu machen, hatte Matt bereits Bass in einer Punk-Band gespielt. Kim machte in ihrer Schulzeit erste musikalische Erfahrungen mit der Klarinette. Bis dahin konnte Matt Johnson allerdings noch kein Keyboard spielen.

Matt and Kim es un grupo de indie rock residente en Brooklyn, New York, formado en 2004 por Matt Johnson (organo/voz) y Kim Schifino (bateria/voz). Los dos se conocieron en el Instituto de Pratt (en Brooklyn) y comenzaron tocando en Brooklyn. Su simple pero atractivo ritmo y su energetica puesta en escena  en sus conciertos como en sus videos, han hecho que sean una importante presencia en las redes sociales y sitios como MySpace o Youtube.  Su segundo álbum Grand salio el 20 de enero de 2009. Ellos tocarán en el Festival de Música de Horca en Chicago este año.
