Grupo formado en Madrid en 1981, tomando su nombre de la película del expresionismo alemán &quot;El gabinete del doctor Caligari&quot;. Ferni Presas, bajista, Edi Clavo, batería y  Jaime Urrutia, guitarra y cantante, que provenía del grupo Ejecutivos Agresivos, Sus primeras actuaciones fueron en el legendario Rockola de Madrid.  Su primer tema, &quot;Golpes&quot;, salió editado en un single de cuatro canciones compartido con Parálisis Permanente. Su primer éxito fue &quot;Cuatro rosas&quot;. En 1995 salió su último trabajo llamado &quot;Gabinetíssimo&quot;.  

Grupo de rock español integrado dentro de la corriente conocida como Movida Madrileña y que tuvo una extensa y relativamente exitosa carrera que se prolongó durante 18 años, dando como resultado un total de 8 LPs, un recopilatorio oficial y diversos singles pertenecientes a sus primeros años.  Se forman en 1981 por Jaime Urrutia (voz y guitarra), estudiante de filología semítica, y Fernando Presas (bajo) y Edi Clavo (batería), estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Información de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
